Introducing the RUBIX. Designed and created by Sensebellum, debuting at Summer Meltdown Festival 13.

The Rubix, a modular audio visual stage system incorporating many mediums of light – projection mapping, moving lights, LED strips – that all blend seamlessly with the architecture of the stage. Using the musicians’ beat as the driving rhythm, you’ll see the Rubix transform in structure and sequence into an experience that engages the space and let’s you see the music.

Late Night Lounge:
After the late night music has rang throughout the night, it’s time to relax. What a better place to do it than in the late night tent hanging with your friends? This year, we’ll be opening up the tent after hours, dimming the lights, and bringing out some of Sensebellum’s best interactive art installations. It’s going to be a Sandbox of Life and everyone is invited.

About Sensebellum:
Sensebellum is a new media company founded around the interaction between our senses and cognitive abilities – essentially, we love to do creative things with technology. Whether tangible or virtual, lo-tech or hi, digital or analog, the size of a building or something that fits in your hand, it’s all about creating an experience that brings people together in a creative, collaborative, and thought provoking manner. And that’s just what we do.

Check us out this year at Meltdown 13, or head to our website, for more information.

Artist Addition: Olivia De la Cruz

Another last minute addition to the Meltdown 13 line up, welcome back Olivi De la Cruz to the Friday Beer Garden Stage. Olivia has been in the Meltdown circle of friends for many years now with her angelic voice and beautiful guitar melodies. She’s our favorite local female voice and is winning hearts left and right on her musical journey forward. Olivia just completed a very successful Kickstarter Campaign, raising 10K through hundreds of donations to see her very first album published. It’s incredible (give it a listen below), touching and makes for a great Friday Kick off in the Beer Garden at 1:20pm.

NLG “Poo Filter” returns to Meltdown

Welcome back Northern Lights Gardening as one of our premier sponsors of Meltdown for the fourth year in a row. Northern Lights Gardening sells everything you need for hi-tech gardening, hydroponics, and indoor and green house lighting needs.

We’ve been very fortunate to have these guys work with us, especially to help make our bathroom experience at Meltdown a better one.
No one likes the smell of the toilets at festivals, so the guys at Northern Lights Gardening designed this amazing “POO FILTER” that pulls fresh air into the toilets and sends the stink through a carbon filter to purify the air. One of the little touches that makes a big difference at Meltdown. Thanks Loren and the staff at NLG. Visit their stores in Bellingham and Mt Vernon WA or online at
