What to Expect Upon Arrival:
On Thursday the parking lot and box office will open around noon. Parking in the general lot is $3 per vehicle. Proceeds go to benefit the Skate Darrington Project and North Counties Family Services. The gates into the festival open at 3pm (entrance is free for early bird ticket holders). If you don’t have an early bird ticket that says “Includes Thursday Entry” then you have the option to purchase a Thursday add on ticket for $30 extra. For the rest of the weekend the gates open at 10am Fri-Sun.
When you first arrive you will be directed to a parking spot. This applies to everyone, even those who are vehicle camping. You will then go to the box office where you will claim will call tickets, purchase tickets, buy vehicle camping passes, etc. Once the gates are open you will be allowed to bring in your camping things and/or drive in your vehicle.
During peak hours things can get a little backed up at the box office. The biggest thing we ask of you is to PLEASE BE PATIENT! Remember, it’s a long weekend of fun ahead of you and we are working as fast as we can.
Those who purchased vehicle camping passes will be allowed to drive their vehicles into a specific part of the campground. This is a one way pass. There is NO RE ENTRY. If you choose to leave the grounds with your vehicle you must either park it in the lot or purchase another pass if there are any left.
NO DOGS, NO WEAPONS, NO FIREWORKS, NO DRUGS, NO NITROUS OXIDE. NO OPEN FIRES – NO CANDLES! NO GLASS BOTTLES OF ANY KIND.
Alcohol Policy – State liquor laws require that consumption of alcoholic beverages only be allowed in the beer garden and in your personal campground space. No open containers in the general public areas (Music Meadow, Vending, etc). Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages must be 21+. ID’s are required at check-in and must be available upon security request.
Excessive amounts of alcohol will not be allowed into the venue, such as Kegs or large quantities of liquor. Summer Meltdown reserves the right to determine what is “excessive” upon entry into the festival. Please be responsible, we don’t want to take your stuff.

For Driving Directions
Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater is about an hour and half Northeast of Seattle, or Southeast of Bellingham, WA. There is plenty of on site parking and camping. We greatly encourage ride share and carpooling, to reduce the overall impact of our festival.
